SUSAN J. BETHEA

Susan J. Bethea is a native of Brooklyn, NY was born on August 10, 1970, to Mr. Herbert M. Graves and Evangelist Mamie J. Wilson. She has two sisters, and one that accepted her wings in June of 2024. And three brothers. She was raised in the Church of God Reformation and a daughter of the National Association of the Church of God. 

She accepted her call to the ministry year 2000. Was licensed in 2015 and ordained in February of 2018 by her Senior Pastor Rev. George D. Martin Jr. She was consecrated as Evangelist on November 14, 2021, by Bishop Stephen L. Wilson her current Senior Pastor of the Sanctuary Church in Indianapolis, IN, where she serves on the Ministerial Staff, Women's Committee, and teaches for Life Enrichment Classes.

She worked towards the completion of her bachelor's degree after 22 years and finished with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in General Studies with a concentration in Sociology at Anderson University in Anderson, IN. She attended Northcentral University online in pursuit of her Marriage & Family Therapy Master's Degree. Life circumstances took priority, and she had to pause but she is not giving up. 

She is the Founder of "Ladies Converge" a woman in business networking event birthed out of the need to help women find their voice in business and their footing in marketplace success. 

She is an author of three books. "TAGS" One woman's journey from loneliness and pain to love and joy. "12 Essentials for a Successful Marriage" a marriage resource for couples, she co-wrote with her husband Rev. Tyrone Bethea. "A Disciplined Lifestyle" 14-day devotional/journal - a journal to help you along your walk with Christ.  And a few new projects releasing in 2026, "Leather & Lace", "A Kingdom Warrior with Weapons", & "Partners in the Gospel". 

She is the Chief Operations Officer of B&B Joint-Heir Enterprises a family-owned business where they cater to married couples, and women in business.  She has a series podcast with her husband "Real Couples Talk with the Rev's" where they talk all things marriage and relationships. 

She currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Interim Director of Church of God Ministries, Inc. Pastor Monte' Dillard Sr., this is truly a God ordained merger. 

She loves to preach the unadulterated word of God. She is a profound preacher and illustrator of the word, and she loves to teach the principles of God. She takes Matthew 28:19-20 seriously in her ministry- "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age." 

She began her preaching ministry in the City of New York and has had the privilege to bring the word in many states domestically. 

she is married to her love of 27 years Rev. Tyrone A. Bethea and has three beautiful children Markus (31), Darnisha (29), Tyane (26) and one amazing granddaughter Alayna (10), 11 Godchildren and a host of spiritual sons and daughters. 

She is a wife, mother, prayer warrior, preacher, teacher, author, playwriter, podcaster, business owner, motivational speaker, and inspiration to most. And the Best is YET to Come!
